Course Objectives

Classes are small, with only 5 students in each class.  In this 3 hour course, you will cover the following:

  • Set up supplier and customer records
  • Create customer invoices and credit notes
  • Process supplier invoices and credit notes
  • Be able to post supplier payments and customer receipts
  • Post bank payments and receipts
  • Management of your customer and supplier accounts
  • Produce monthly financial reports
  • Understand the backup and restore routines


Course Materials

As well as receiving a certificate of attendance, each delegate will, as part of the course fee, will receive training material relative to the course.


After completing The Essentials course, you will now have a good basic understanding of the core operations of the Sage software.

There are further courses available, that will cover these areas in depth which will increase your knowledge to getting the most out of the software, ensuring that you can produce monthly accounts accurately with as much analysis as is required by your business.
